# Brewery Digital Signage

Brewery digital signage for tap lists, beer releases, brewing videos, food vendors, and taproom events. Manage prepared content on Apple TV displays.

Brewery digital signage can put a tap list above the counter, introduce a new release in the seating area, and tell arriving guests which food vendor is serving. Separate the information needed to order from the beer stories and events that belong elsewhere in the taproom.

Better Signage plays your prepared images and muted videos on physical Apple TVs connected to landscape HDMI displays. Upload the tap list and release artwork in a browser, assemble playlists, and publish to the TVs you select. Every standard plan includes unlimited screens, including separate menu and event displays.

## Tap-list signage for choosing a beer

Use consistent fields for the list your staff can confirm: beer name, style, serving size, and price. Add ABV or a tasting description when you have checked those details. Keep the rows organized so a guest can compare the available beers without finding a different layout for every entry.

If this TV is the main menu, keep the core tap list together in a prepared image. A second display can carry release artwork and longer brewing notes. That separates the immediate ordering reference from the story of a beer, which may need more space than the tap-list row allows.

## Give new releases their own introduction

A release image can pair your can or label artwork with the beer name and an approved description. Explain the form in which it is available, such as on tap or in packaged stock, when your team has confirmed that information. A photograph of the actual product makes the announcement specific to the release.

Your team controls when the announcement starts and when it should change. Better Signage does not connect to keg inventory or automatically launch a campaign on a release date. Update the tap-list artwork and publish the release playlist when service is ready, then revise it if the available formats change.

## Show the brewing work behind the menu

Taproom guests can see the production space through a prepared video even when they are not on a brewery tour. Show brewing, packaging, or the team working with a particular batch. Use visible captions to explain the process and identify the beer rather than depending on a voiceover.

A separate image can introduce a brewer or explain a specific ingredient using wording the brewery approves. Keep that material tied to the product or process shown. The seating-area playlist can carry these stories while the counter continues showing the current ordering list.

## Food vendors, taproom events, and take-home stock

A visiting food vendor needs a practical announcement: who is serving, where to order, and the confirmed service hours. Use the vendor's approved photograph or menu image if it fits the display. Keep the taproom's drinks menu separate so guests know which order belongs at which counter.

For a quiz, release gathering, or other taproom activity, use an event image with the joining instruction. Between events, a retail-stock image can show the cans, bottles, or merchandise your team has confirmed are available. These prepared promotions give a seating or entrance TV content relevant to the visit beyond the tap list.

## Apple TV players for menu and event screens

Upload JPEG or PNG artwork and finished videos through the browser. Videos convert to H.264 MP4 and play muted. Each landscape HDMI display needs a physical Apple TV running tvOS 26.5 or later with App Store installation eligibility. Include the full menu or promotional composition in the file before uploading.

Select the taproom Apple TVs and press Play to publish; editing the playlist alone does not update playback. Free is $0 per month with 50 MB of storage and unlimited screens. Paid storage plans start at $4.99 per month for 250 MB. Supply the Apple TVs and displays separately, and choose storage for the release artwork and finished videos you plan to keep.

## What to put on your screen

### Counter playlist: the current tap list

Prepare a readable menu image with consistent fields for beer name, style, size, and price. Include other verified details only when they fit, and reserve longer beer descriptions for a separate promotional display.

### Release playlist: label and beer introduction

Open with the release artwork, follow with a product photograph and approved tasting description, then state the confirmed serving or packaged formats. This connects the label's identity with what guests can order.

### Brewery film: a captioned process

Use your own production footage with short descriptions embedded in the edit. Identify the stage or batch shown and preview the sequence without sound so the film explains itself in the taproom.

### Food vendor: who, where, and when

Show the approved vendor name, ordering location, and checked serving hours. Add a food photograph supplied for the visit rather than a menu that has not been confirmed for that service.

### Taproom activity: how a group joins

Use a prepared image for the quiz, release gathering, or activity your brewery is hosting. State the event location and joining route so someone seated away from the counter can understand the arrangements.

### Take-home stock: packaged beer and merchandise

Photograph available cans, bottles, or brewery merchandise and name the items in the image. Include the current price or direct guests to staff for stock questions, according to the offer your team has approved.

## Set up your digital signage on Apple TV

Connect a compatible Apple TV to your landscape TV over HDMI. Install Better Signage, open the app, and enter its pairing code in your web dashboard. Give each screen a name that tells you where it is.

1. Upload your finished JPEG or PNG slides and videos. Video conversion runs on our servers, and signage videos play silently.
2. Arrange the files in a playlist and choose how long each item stays on screen. Build text and logos into your artwork, with room around the edges for the default crop-to-fill display.
3. Select the Apple TVs you want to update and choose Play. The players download and check the media before starting the playlist. Send it again with Play whenever your content changes.

You need physical Apple TV hardware eligible to install Better Signage, running tvOS 26.5 or later. Internet is required for setup, downloads, and new publishes. Keep the app open on each player while it runs your signage.
