Nightclub Signage

Nightclub digital signage for event artwork, performer announcements, bar offers, private bookings, and prepared silent visual loops on Apple TV.

Nightclub signage can identify tonight's event at the entrance, introduce the next lineup at the bar, and run prepared visual artwork in a lounge. Give the entrance practical information for arriving guests and use other screens for the club's imagery or upcoming nights.

Better Signage loops your uploaded images and muted videos on physical Apple TVs connected to landscape HDMI displays. Manage event artwork and finished visual loops in a browser, then publish them to the TVs you choose. Music, lighting, and live performance cues stay with the venue's existing systems.

Entrance artwork for tonight's event

An event poster becomes useful entrance signage when a guest can identify the night and the next step. Put the approved event title, performer billing, and entry information in a wide composition. Use separate artwork for the TV rather than squeezing a tall social flyer into the display.

The door team can review the information against the admission arrangements they are using. A guest-list instruction or a direction to a specific entrance belongs on this screen when it applies to the event. Keep detailed biographies for other channels and let the TV explain the event at the point of arrival.

Prepared nightclub visuals for the bar and lounge

A finished animation can supply a repeating visual backdrop for a lounge or bar TV. Render the movement, color treatment, and any club branding into the video before upload. Check the transition back to its opening frame so the repeated clip looks the way you intended.

Better Signage plays these videos as independent muted loops. It does not react to the DJ's music, follow lighting cues, or synchronize frames across displays. Choose this approach for prepared artwork that should keep playing on its own; a performance requiring live cues needs the venue's existing visual setup.

Introduce upcoming nights through their artwork

Use a bar or lounge playlist to introduce future events with their approved poster imagery and performer names. A short sequence can distinguish a recurring resident night from a special booking. Each event image should carry enough context that someone who sees only that part of the loop knows which night it describes.

Keep the upcoming-events playlist separate from tonight's entrance instructions. Publishing different playlists to the selected Apple TVs gives you a way to promote future nights inside while the doorway identifies the current event. Your team chooses when new artwork goes live and when an event leaves the rotation.

Bar offers and private-event identity

A bar screen can show a named drink, its price, and the applicable offer terms. Use a photograph or a prepared animation that makes the drink recognizable, with the words clearly part of the finished artwork. This screen has a service role, so make the offer readable without depending on the lounge visual loop.

For a private booking, prepare a client-approved welcome and a separate visual playlist. An entrance can identify the private event while screens in the reserved area use its chosen photographs or branding. Review the complete playlist for that booking so every item belongs to the client's event.

Choose the players and storage for your club screens

Each landscape HDMI screen needs a compatible physical Apple TV with tvOS 26.5 or later and permission to install the app from its App Store listing. Upload JPEG or PNG artwork and videos through your browser. Video conversion produces H.264 MP4, and playback is muted. Include text and logos in the source file.

Select the club TVs and press Play to publish a playlist; edits do not change the screen until you publish again. Standard plans include unlimited screens. Free costs $0 per month with 50 MB of media storage, while paid plans start at $4.99 per month for 250 MB. Supply the displays and Apple TVs separately and choose storage that fits your finished visual files.

What to put on your screen

Entrance playlist: tonight's identity

Use a wide version of the event artwork with the approved performer billing. Add a separate entry-instruction image when the night's admission arrangements need explanation, and keep that information distinct from future-event advertising.

Lounge playlist: a finished visual loop

Upload an original animation with the club's intended colors and branding already rendered. Preview its loop point and use it as independent visual artwork rather than a cue-driven part of the DJ performance.

Upcoming nights: one event per image

Create a sequence of wide event cards with titles, dates, and approved billing. Each card should identify its own occasion so a viewer who walks into the room midway through the playlist can understand it.

Bar offer: a named drink

Show the drink photograph or finished animation with its price and current offer terms. Give it a separate bar-area playlist when lounge screens are running visual artwork.

Performer introduction: an approved portrait

Pair a supplied portrait with the performer's name and the event they are appearing at. Use approved wording that connects the introduction to that booking without inventing credentials or endorsements.

Private booking: client artwork

Combine the client's approved welcome, images, and event identity into a dedicated playlist. Publish it to the reserved area's Apple TVs and review the full sequence before opening that space.

Set up your signage on Apple TV

Connect a compatible Apple TV to your landscape TV over HDMI. Install Better Signage, open the app, and enter its pairing code in your web dashboard. Give each screen a name that tells you where it is.

  1. Upload your finished JPEG or PNG slides and videos. Video conversion runs on our servers, and signage videos play silently.
  2. Arrange the files in a playlist and choose how long each item stays on screen. Build text and logos into your artwork, with room around the edges for the default crop-to-fill display.
  3. Select the Apple TVs you want to update and choose Play. The players download and check the media before starting the playlist. Send it again with Play whenever your content changes.

You need physical Apple TV hardware eligible to install Better Signage, running tvOS 26.5 or later. Internet is required for setup, downloads, and new publishes. Keep the app open on each player while it runs your signage.

Common questions about nightclubs

Can Better Signage run nightclub visual loops?

Yes. Upload a finished video and play it in a repeating playlist on a compatible Apple TV and landscape HDMI display. Video playback is muted, and the visual movement must be part of the file you upload.

Will the visuals react to music or lighting?

No. Better Signage does not detect beats or follow music, lighting, or DJ cues. Use it for prepared independent visual loops.

Will the same animation stay synchronized across club TVs?

Better Signage does not provide frame synchronization. You can publish the same playlist to selected TVs, but do not use that as a guarantee that their animation frames will match.

Can the entrance and lounge use different playlists?

Yes. Choose the paired Apple TVs that should receive each playlist and press Play. This lets the entrance show event information while the lounge shows prepared visuals.

Can I put a logo or event title over the video?

Include the complete composition in your source video before uploading it. Better Signage does not provide a separate logo overlay or screen-layout editor.
