Trade Show Signage

Trade show digital signage for booth introductions, recorded product demos, application examples, and contact slides on landscape Apple TV displays.

Trade show signage gives your booth a product introduction that can repeat while the team talks to visitors. Use an aisle-facing TV to explain what you offer and an inside display to show a recorded demonstration, product photographs, or a prepared application example.

Better Signage plays uploaded images and muted videos on physical Apple TVs connected to landscape HDMI displays. Build a booth playlist in your browser and publish it to the players you choose. These are prepared demonstrations and introductions; hands-on product use remains with your booth team's separate devices.

A booth introduction someone can understand from the aisle

Lead with the product name and the specific job it performs. A manufacturer can show the part and its application; a software company can show the task its product handles. Choose one clear introduction for the approach to the booth, then use the demonstration to explain the details.

Check the finished artwork from the aisle rather than only from inside the stand. A full product-interface screenshot may contain useful information at a desk but unreadable text on a booth TV. Prepare a focused image of the relevant view with a short explanation that accurately describes what is shown.

Recorded product demonstrations that work without sound

Choose a task or product operation for each clip. Show the starting situation, the action, and the visible result with short captions in the edit. For a physical product, this could be assembly or operation. For software, it could be a recorded workflow that the team can also explain in a conversation.

Better Signage plays video muted, so preview the export without its voiceover. Use a finished recording that reflects the product you are presenting and excludes private account information. The TV repeats that explanation while staff can demonstrate the live product separately.

Use application examples to start a specific conversation

A booth playlist can pair a product image with a prepared example of where it is used. Show a part in its assembly, an approved project photograph, or a recorded workflow for a named task. Describe the relationship between the product and the pictured application so the screen gives visitors something concrete to ask about.

Use material you have permission to publish, and distinguish an illustrative example from a verified customer project. Keep claims tied to what the footage or approved source establishes. A simple product comparison can also work as an image when it uses confirmed specifications and explains which option serves which application.

Connect the screen to the booth team's next step

An invitation image can tell visitors where to meet the team and what they can demonstrate. If you run a specific booth session, include the confirmed session details and manually replace the announcement when it no longer applies. An inside TV can show the longer demo while the aisle display continues the product introduction.

A contact image can carry your approved website or inquiry route. An existing QR code can be included in the source artwork and checked on the installed display if that helps visitors reach the destination. Better Signage does not generate the code, capture leads, or turn the TV into an interactive kiosk.

Prepare and check the Apple TV before the show opens

Each landscape HDMI screen needs a physical Apple TV running tvOS 26.5 or later on which the App Store listing permits installation. Upload JPEG or PNG artwork and videos, allow conversion to H.264 MP4 to finish, then publish with Play and check the whole loop on the intended display. Repeat the playback check after booth installation.

Plan internet for pairing, downloads, and new publishes. Downloaded content can continue through a temporary outage while its local files remain available, but it is not a permanent offline guarantee. Free includes unlimited screens and 50 MB of storage at $0 per month; paid plans start at $4.99 per month for 250 MB. Supply the players and displays separately and keep the original media in a persistent location.

What to put on your screen

Aisle playlist: product and purpose

Open with the product name and a concrete explanation, follow with a focused product image, then repeat the introduction. Use the inside display for detail so a passerby can understand the main message without waiting through the full demo.

Recorded demo: one operation

Show the starting condition, the operation, and its visible result with captions embedded in the edit. Preview it muted and make sure the booth team can identify the task demonstrated.

Application image: the product in context

Pair the product with an approved installation, assembly, or project photograph. Explain what it does in that example and label illustrative work appropriately rather than implying an invented customer endorsement.

Product options: a prepared comparison

Create a landscape image of the options your team wants to discuss, using checked specifications and application descriptions. Keep the comparison focused on a decision visitors can bring to the booth conversation.

Demonstration invitation: meet the team

Tell visitors where the demonstration happens and which product operation they can see. Include a confirmed session time only for an actual session that staff will keep current.

Contact slide: an existing inquiry route

Show your approved website or contact destination in a wide layout. If the artwork uses an existing QR code, test it at the booth's viewing distance and confirm it opens the intended destination.

Set up your signage on Apple TV

Connect a compatible Apple TV to your landscape TV over HDMI. Install Better Signage, open the app, and enter its pairing code in your web dashboard. Give each screen a name that tells you where it is.

  1. Upload your finished JPEG or PNG slides and videos. Video conversion runs on our servers, and signage videos play silently.
  2. Arrange the files in a playlist and choose how long each item stays on screen. Build text and logos into your artwork, with room around the edges for the default crop-to-fill display.
  3. Select the Apple TVs you want to update and choose Play. The players download and check the media before starting the playlist. Send it again with Play whenever your content changes.

You need physical Apple TV hardware eligible to install Better Signage, running tvOS 26.5 or later. Internet is required for setup, downloads, and new publishes. Keep the app open on each player while it runs your signage.

Common questions about trade shows

Can Better Signage run a trade show product demo?

Yes, as a recorded video you upload. Include captions or visible explanation because playback is muted. Better Signage does not open a live product application or website.

Can it work as an interactive booth kiosk?

No. It plays prepared image and video playlists. Use a separate device or a staff-led demonstration for hands-on product interaction.

Can I run the whole show without internet?

Do not rely on that. Internet is required for pairing, media downloads, and new publishes. Downloaded content can continue during a temporary outage while the files remain available, but local caching is not a permanent offline mode.

Can several booth TVs show different demos?

Yes. Prepare separate playlists and publish each to the paired Apple TVs you select. All standard plans include unlimited screens, and each display needs its own compatible physical Apple TV.

What should I check before the trade show opens?

Confirm the app installs on the Apple TV, video conversion has finished, the playlist has been published, and the complete loop plays on the intended display. At the booth, check power, the HDMI input, the working internet connection, and actual playback again.

How much does trade show signage cost?

Free costs $0 per month with 50 MB of media storage and unlimited screens. Paid plans start at $4.99 per month for 250 MB and also include unlimited screens. You supply the compatible Apple TVs and displays separately.
