What counts as storage

The storage meter accounts for retained uploaded media. Uploads in progress can reserve space while they finish. Units are decimal: 1 MB is 1,000,000 bytes and 1 GB is 1,000,000,000 bytes.

Using one library asset in a playlist does not require uploading a duplicate for each TV. Keep video exports short and set their on-screen duration in the playlist.

If you are over the allowance

New uploads are blocked when there is not enough capacity. Existing content is not deleted simply because you exceed the plan allowance; prepared playback can continue, subject to the player retaining its local files.

A downgrade or the end of paid entitlement can put an existing library over the new allowance. Review the storage meter, remove media you no longer need where deletion is allowed, or choose a larger plan. Some media may still be referenced by a published or active playlist; follow the deletion error instead of repeatedly retrying.

Plans, cancellation, and refunds

Subscription changes take effect when confirmed by the billing service. Read the effective date and amount shown before confirming a change. Better Signage offers a 30-day money-back guarantee; use a billing ticket to request a refund within 30 days of payment.
