Get your first playlist on screen

From a new account to your first playing Apple TV, in four dashboard steps.

Before you start

You need the Better Signage app on a compatible Apple TV, a connected display, internet access, and a Better Signage account. Free includes unlimited screens and 50 MB of media storage.

Follow the four steps

  1. Pair TV: open Better Signage on the Apple TV. Enter its current code in the dashboard and choose Pair TV. Rename it so you can identify it later.
  2. Add media: choose a supported video or image. Wait for checking and setup to finish. A rejected file cannot be added to your playlist.
  3. Playlist: add media from your library, arrange it with the up/down controls, and set the seconds on screen if needed. The playlist repeats from the top.
  4. Play: choose the Apple TVs, then choose Play on … TVs. Keep the players online while they download and prepare the files.

Editing a playlist does not change the screens immediately. Use Play to send the updated playlist.

Confirm the result

Wait for Playing in the dashboard, then look at the physical display. An online device or a playing report does not confirm that your TV is on the right HDMI input.

Better Signage plays signage silently. Video audio is muted.
